Smooth jazz keyboardist Bobby Lyle says this Christmas has been one of the most fulfilling of his life. Lyle says that he and a friend, Delphine, spent the entire day Friday (December 25) playing the piano and singing Christmas music at Houston- area nursing and senior homes.
“We were just hanging out and breaking bread with some beautiful people,” says Lyle, who lives in the Houston area. “The joy that the music and conversation brought was my Christmas gift.”
Lyle, who is 65, has recorded 15 solo CDs, including his latest, Hands On, in 2006. He says that he expects to release a new project in May.
